Context

We relate in the Ṣaḥīḥ of Muslim that Zayd ibn Arqam Honorific symbol reported that the Messenger of Allah Honorific symbol used to say: “O Allah, I seek Your protection from feebleness and laziness, from cowardice and avarice, from senility, and from punishment in the grave. O Allah, grant my soul its godliness and purify it, for You are the best of those who purify it. You are its Guardian and its Master. O Allah, I seek Your protection from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that is not utterly humble, from a self that is insatiable, and from supplications that are not accepted.” [18].
