Context

And we relate from the Sunan of Abū Dāwūd from Ibn ‘Abbās Honorific symbol from the Messenger of Allah Honorific symbol who said: “Whoever says in the morning: ‘So glory be to Allah when you reach evening and when you rise in the morning; and to Him be praise, in the heavens and on Earth, and at eventide and at noontide. He brings out the living from the dead, and brings out the dead from the living. And He gives life to the earth after it is dead; and thus shall you be brought back out [from the dead]’ [25].will attain what he may have lost in that day. Whoever says it in the evening will attain all that he may have missed that night.” [26].Abū Dāwūd did not consider the narration weak but al-Bukhārī did so in his Tārīkh as well as in his book Kitāb aḍ-ḍu‘afā’.
