Chapter 136
Remembrance 2 from Chapter 136
What to say when the wind blows
Arabic
Romanisation
Allāhumma innī a‘ūdhu bika min sharrihā.
Context
We relate in the Sunans of Abū Dāwūd, an-Nasā’ī and Ibn Mājah from ‘Ā’ishah
who related that when the Prophet
saw a cloud forming on the horizon he would leave what he was doing, even if he was in ṣalāh, and say: “O Allah, I ask Your protection from its evil.”
