Romanisation
Allāhumma ‘āfinī fī jasadī, wa ‘āfinī fī baṣarī, wa-j‘alhu-l-wāritha minnī. Lā ilāha illa-llāhu-l-Ḥalīmu-l-Karīm. Subḥāna-llāhi Rabbi-l-‘Arshi-l-‘aẓīm, wa-l-ḥamdu li-llāhi Rabbi-l-‘ālamīn.
Context
We relate in the book of at-Tirmidhī that ‘Ā’ishah
reported that the Messenger of Allah
used to say: “O Allah, grant me good health in my body, and grant me good health in my eyesight, and make it outlast me. There is no god but Allah, the Forbearing, the Most Generous. Glory be to Allah, Lord of the Exalted Throne. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.” [39].
