Remembrance 1 from Chapter 117

Consoling consists of encouraging steadfastness, comforting the companions of the deceased, lessening and alleviating their grief and making their misfortune easier. It is mustaḥabb, because it includes commanding good and preventing evil. It is also within the scope of Allah’s words “And help one another to [attain] piety and the fear of Allah.” ^[5].
