Context
WE RELATE FROM the Ṣaḥīḥs of al-Bukhārī and Muslim that Jābir 
related: “The Messenger of Allah 
asked me: ‘Have you married a virgin or a woman who has previously been married?’ I replied: ‘I married a woman who has previously been married.’ He said: ‘Why did you not marry a virgin, so that you could play with her and she with you?” [1].
