What to say on hearing thunder

Subḥāna-lladhī yusabbiḥu-r-ra‘du bi-ḥamdihi wa-l-malā’ikatu min khīfatih.
Context
We relate in the Muwaṭṭa’ with a ṣaḥīḥ isnād from ‘Abdullāh ibn az-Zubayr
who reported that when the Messenger of Allah
heard thunder he stopped talking and said: “Glory be to Him Whose praise the thunder and the angels celebrate, in fear of Him.” [2].Imam ash-Shāfi‘ī, may Allah have mercy on him, said in al-Umm with a ṣaḥīḥ isnād from Ṭāwūs, the great Tābi‘ī Imam
, that he used to say upon hearing the thunder, “Glory be to the One you praise!”

[2] Al-Muwaṭṭa’ (2/992) and al-Futūḥāt (4/285). Ibn Ḥajar states that this hadith is mawqūf. It was reported by al-Bukhārī in al-Adab al-mufrad from Ismā‘īl ibn Abī Uways, who narrated it from Mālik.
