Context

And we relate in the Muwaṭṭa’ and the Sunan of al-Bayhaqī with a ṣaḥīḥ isnād, from Mālik from Nāfi‘ that Ibn ‘Umar Honorific symbol used to say when he made tashahhud: “In the name of Allah. Greetings belong to Allah. Prayers belong to Allah. Pure actions belong to Allah. Peace be upon the Prophet, and the mercy and blessings of Allah. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. I have borne witness that there is no god but Allah and I have borne witness that Muḥammad is the Messenger of Allah.” [7].
