The prohibition of rejoicing at the misfortune of a muslim

Context

WE RELATE IN the book of at-Tirmidhī that Wāthilah ibn al-Asqa‘ Honorific symbol related that the Messenger of Allah Honorific symbol said: “Do not rejoice at the misfortune of a Muslim, lest Allah have mercy on him and put you to the test.” [1].At-Tirmidhī says that this is a ḥasan hadith.
