The kunyah of a man [normally] coming from his eldest son
Context
OUR PROPHET MUḤAMMAD 
was given the title Abū al-Qāsim, [Qāsim] being the eldest of his sons. On this subject there is the hadith of Shurayḥ which we mentioned earlier, in the chapter on it being mustaḥabb to change [certain] names for better names.
