What to say when one is invited for a meal and others follow

Context

WE RELATE FROM the Ṣaḥīḥs of al-Bukhārī and Muslim that Ibn Mas‘ūd Honorific symbol narrated that a man invited the Prophet Honorific symbol for a meal which he had prepared. He Honorific symbol was the fifth of five [people to be invited]. A man followed them. When he came to the door, the Prophet Honorific symbol said: “This man followed us. Give him permission if you wish; otherwise he will go back.” He said: “I give him permission, Messenger of Allah.” [1].
