WE RELATE FROM the Ṣaḥīḥ of Muslim that Jābir 
reported that the Prophet 
once asked his family for condiment to eat with bread. They said: “We have nothing but vinegar.” He called for it and started to eat some of it. He said: “Vinegar is a wonderful condiment, vinegar is a wonderful condiment.” [1].
