The sunnah for the imam and the leader of the army to feign taking another direction when intending to go on an expedition

WE RELATE FROM the Ṣaḥīḥs of al-Bukhārī and Muslim from Ka‘b ibn Mālik who said that whenever the Messenger of Allah was about to go on a campaign he feigned something different. ^[1].
